Indonesian women, particularly on the island of Java, are exceptionally beautiful. They tend towards the very feminine side, with lovely skin, are not too tall, and have knock-out smiles. There’s plenty of plus on that side of things.
If wer’e to be honest we have to recognise that many men are interested in a woman who will take care of him, do the housework without complaint, and take care of other matters similarly without much bother. Your average Indonesian girl often fits the bill in this respect, certainly more than your average western woman, the less said about them the better.
On the other hand going out with Indonesian women in a romantic way can have many mysterious pitfalls.
Some women here are clearly only interested in money. Some men are unbothered by this. Others of the female variety, can, once we get to know them very well, come across as practically insane, hysterically emotional, scheming, over-possessive, inclined to, usually fake, attempts at self-harm in order to get their way. As I said, not for the faint-hearted.

With some smooth words you can easily get her. If you have one as a girlfriend or maitraisse you can easily lose her if someone offers her a cheap car. It almost sounds like you are describing Sundanese women. They are wild, sexy and into fantasies–but they also love to spend money. I have not yet met any Javanese girls that fit your description but there is always a first time.
If you want to enjoy nightlife and wild times I suggest you try the Sundanese women–the best are from Bandung, Subang, Bogor and Kuningan–not necessarily in that order. The women from Sukabumi are beautiful but tend to go sour too quick.

But if we are assigning a modern day city to the definition of Sod. and Gom. then Jakarta is the closest thing in the world–that is not necessarily a bad thing depending on your choice of “refreshing” activities.

For all those remarks made previously i would like to suggest to actually study the koran, and i mean it origin, and not the popular bullsh*t that you hear nowadays and mentioned on this site. Tolerance and understanding is an islamic concept aswell, but somehow got lost…Dating Indonesian girls, i am working here now for 3 years but honestly still have some trouble to find the one special. The only country in the world where men get arrested for domestic violence on a consistent basis is the USA–not because they beat their wives more but because the law is enforced. In Indonesia, especially central java, the jails would be so full they couldn’t hold anymore. One of my clients is an advocacy group for women in SE Asia, funded by the world bank, they assist women (poor women) with education and healthcare. According to their rep in Surabaya the level of violence against women is very high in Indonesia but men rarely get taken in unless they have mortally wounded the woman. So if that is the standard then yes Javanese don’t mame/kill their women they only beat them so the women should be grateful.

That is true, and in the (ancient/former/original) jav. society women have a high and important and frequently essential position (also in the family), before external influences shatter this structure.

the problem is that many Asian men do not (able) develope their selves in the last 5000 years (except in the strategy of corruption off course 🙂 ) and they stand still at the niveau of our neolithic ancestors. And some of the former savages have created some new things, which helped the 5000 years ago more civilized Asians to evolve them selves: electricity, bulb, computer, automobile, airplane (Ooops, javanese could already flying as the white men still climbing around on the trees!
