Barry Soetoro

Barry Soetoro aka Barack Obama’s Indonesian connection.

Former Menteng student now US President

Obama Barack has been democratically elected President of the US.

Quite an about face for the best democracy money can buy, in view of the Bush presidential se-lection.

But of course, corruption, collusion and nepotism is the sole monopoly of the Third World – or so the deluded denizens of the West repeat to themselves as they hug their knees, rocking back and forth – reminding themselves of how they uphold human rights equally across the board, entirely devoid of double-standards and totally oblivious to race, creed or religion.

Barrak Hussein Obama II was born to a white American Ann Dunham and Kenyan Barrak Hussein Obama Snr, in Nyang’oma Kogelo now in Kenya.

Here the Indonesian link starts.

Ann Dunham married in 1967 Lolo Soetoro, a Javanese, whose own father, in 1946 was killed along with his eldest brother were killed, after which the Dutch army burned down the family’s home. Soetoro fled with his mother into the countryside to survive. Incidentally yet more proof of Dutch war crimes – delibrate destruction of civilian property outside the scope of battle.

Pak Lolo Soetoro was an army geologist then later a government relations consultant for Mobil Oil. Obama describes Soetoro as well-mannered, even-tempered, and easy with people.

Barry Soetoro in Indonesia with mother Ann Dunham, step-father Lolo Soetoro, baby-sister Maya Soetoro-Ng.

From age 6 to 10, Obama lived in Jakarta. Age six, Obama attended the Catholic Primary St Francis di Assisi. Much was made of the lie he was educated in a Madrassa – or more accurately a pesantren – this of course was totally untrue. Obama Jnr later attended Model Primary School, Menteng and was registered as a Muslim – as his father was Muslim.

In Obama’s own words:

In the Muslim school, the teacher wrote to tell my mother that I made faces during Koranic studies. My mother wasn’t overly concerned. ‘Be respectful,’ she’d say. In the Catholic school, when it came time to pray, I would close my eyes, then peek around the room. Nothing happened. No angels descended. Just a parched old nun and 30 brown children, muttering words.

One of “Berry’s” childhood friends was Adi who often visited “Berry’s” 16 Jalan Haji Ramli house. Speaking volumes of Dutch “development” at the time the road was of this established middle-class neighbourhood was a dirt lane where Obama used to wile away the hours kicking a soccer ball.

Adi recalled Obama and his friends wore plastic bags over their shoes to walk through the muddy street during the rainy seasons.

Neighborhood Muslims worshiped in a nearby house, which has since been replaced by a larger mosque. Sometimes, when the muezzin sounded the call to prayer, Lolo and Barry would walk to the makeshift mosque together, Adi said.

His mother often went to the church, but Barry was Muslim. He went to the mosque,” Adi said. “I remember him wearing a sarong.”

Obama spent most his spare time hanging out with Adi and other friends at the home of Yunaldi Askiar, a classmate. They used to play a kind of fencing game using sticks, kick a ball up and down the narrow dirt lanes or go swimming in the river behind the school, said Askiar, 42, a car mechanic.

Obama was taller and better dressed than most kids in classes where shoes and socks were still luxuries, so he stood out from the start. As an African American, and the only foreigner, he suffered racial taunts and teasing but never turned to violence.

“At first, everybody felt it was weird to have him here,” Israella Dharmawan, his first grade teacher said. “But also they were curious about him, so wherever he went, the kids were following him.”

His friends enjoyed playing tricks on Berry: Harmon ASki recalled,

“Sometimes we’d say, ‘Barry, do you want a chocolate?’ And we’d give him a chocolate. The next day we’d give him a chocolate again. The third time we’d give him terasi (fermented shrimp paste) wrapped up like chocolate. Obama didn’t get mad. He would laugh it off.”

Ann Soetoro moved to Yogyakarta, while Obama Jnr studied in Jakarta. She was inspired by Jogja village industries, which became the basis of her 1992 doctoral dissertation.

“She loved living in Java,” said Dr. Dewey, who recalled accompanying Ms. Soetoro to a metalworking village. “People said: ‘Hi! How are you?’ She said: ‘How’s your wife? Did your daughter have the baby?’ They were friends. Then she’d whip out her notebook and she’d say: ‘How many of you have electricity? Are you having trouble getting iron?’ ”

Dunham-Soetoro became a consultant for the United States Agency for International Development on setting up a village credit program, then a Ford Foundation program officer in Jakarta specializing in women’s work. Later, she was a consultant in Pakistan, then joined Indonesia’s oldest bank to work on what is described as the world’s largest sustainable microfinance program, creating services like credit and savings for the poor.

Obama in Hawaii with Maya and Ann and maternal grand-father, shortly after leaving Indonesia.

In his tellingly-titled Memoir, Dreams from My Father, Obama describes his Indonesian interlude as “one long adventure, the bounty of a young boy’s life”. But he also recalls being troubled by the poverty around him: “the empty look on the faces of farmers the year the rains never came,” and the desperation of the disabled beggars who came to the family’s door.

“The world was violent, I was learning, unpredictable and often cruel,” he writes. Obama and his mother thus we were very well acquainted with the harsh realities of indigenous Indonesians.

Fermina Katarina Sinaga, recalled yojhng Obama in her class: in the common task of class to write an essay titled “My dream: What I want to be in the future.” Obama “wrote ‘I want to be a president,’ ” she said. During a later writing assignment on family, he wrote, “My father is my idol.

The Indonesian connection for Obama and all that shaped him proving once again all things Javanese and indigenous Indonesian the bedrock for the towering monuments built on the foundations of a great civilisation.

Dual, It has been pointed out to a dozen times along with references to both legal precedents and references to US law, try page 18 of this hoot of a thread for a start. Do not it was not a reference to Wing Nut website and opinion piece by a Wing Nut whose other famous positions include secret death camps, magic oil and other howlers…

As for insults, stop being so precious…”I do not insult you”. Hehe,,,

Tell us about the the bitch part again lol..

Get over it…..oh and explain again in your world, how all those other Presidents with one or some cases two parents where eligible to be Prez…

  2. DualToo says:

    Oigal – my friend
This thread is a hoot, I agree 100%.
I just hate thinking my tax dollars are being wasted this late in the day paying for your reply to my next post as 10 of you order out for pizza from the White House waiting.
I will be brief so you can all go home. I figure it takes at least that many of you to continue to avoid the fact the US State Department declared Obama a Dual Citizen. You all know what that means. Let us talk about that.
As far as other Presidents who may or may not have been eligible – not that interested in digging up the dead besides – I can cite many people (citzens if you will) who have gotten away with crimes – that does not make the next one a non-criminal.
Obama happens to be a text-book example of why the framers of the constitution made the requirements what they are.
Now explain why he is not a Dual Citizen AND how being a Dual Citizen is the same as Natural Born.
Here is a clue to anyone watching – you guys are not allowed to put in writing that you believe he is NATURAL BORN.
Put in writing that you accept him being a dual citizen AND NATUAL BORN and I will be soooooo happy to quit.
Have a wonderful night. Expect lots of snow in the north east.
    Cheers

Now explain why he is not a Dual Citizen

Cos he doesn’t hold British (or Kenyan) nationality or a British (or Kenyan) passport, or have right of abode in either of those countries you fricken numpty!

  4. Oigal says:

Ok..I do love the part where I am part of the great conspiracy!!!! Honestly I often smile on this thread but bloody hell…ROFLMA……

  5. Lairedion says:

    you fricken numpty!

Speaking of numpties, what happened to good ol’ schmerly?

  6. DualToo says:

TimDog – “Cos he doesn’t hold British (or Kenyan) nationality or a British (or Kenyan) passport, or have right of abode in either of those countries you fricken numpty!”

What part of the FACT that the US State Department declared him (certified if you like) a BORN DUAL CITIZEN do you not comprehend?

At the time of birth NOBODY has a Passport silly TimDog. He does have rights to be a British citizen anytime he chooses to take advantage of it. I am in the same boat, so I know this for a fact – then again there is also the US State Department which agrees with me.

You get your citizenship from you father first, your mother next (she was not old enough to pass it to him anyway) and in some countries it matters where you were born. The US is one of a few countries which grant you citizenship (NOT NATURAL BORN CITIZENSHIP) for being born on US soil – which is why they recognize Dual Citizenship and ALSO why there is a NATURAL BORN requirement to be President – you see when you let anyone in, and give them birth right citizenship they knew they needed an extra test for President – called Natural Born (to parents who are both citizens).

Lastly – I can gurantee you – that if he claimed British citizenship he would get it right away thanks to his father. Look back to when we had a draft – dual citizens can not even be called upon to defend the flag. Many did not serve and took up their alternate citizenship.
The British are the worst when it comes to claiming their citizens and their citizens childrens – Once a Brit, always a Brit – see the War of 1812 was all about that. In fact this British obsession with claiming their citizens was behind the Natural Born Requirement. Gee, what was Obama’s father – a British Subject.
Bottom line – you have faild to prove your point.
He is a certified DUAL and can never be NATURAL born.

You should be happy this discussion is over. I am not a birther, I am not using any internet rumors, I don’t argue over where he is born. I am simply stating all the facts which have been known and which HE and the US state department has given us.
Let’s do this by the numbers.

1)Obama told us where he was born – I accept this.
2)Obama told us who his father is – I accept this.
3)The founding fathers required Natural Born citizenship and defined it to not include DUAL citizenship – I accept this and
    4) The United States State Department declared him a Dual Citizen. END OF STORY

That is 4 POINTS of FACT – Which number do you not agree with?
Frankly – given the facts it is impossible to imagine him in office without a conspiracy – time will prove me correct (it has already) . If you are not part of it then you are what is referred to as a ‘USEFUL IDIOT’. I am not insulting you, I am quoting one of your communist idols.
It is not funny, actually. It is sad. The people who argue in favor of violating the constitution are openly working to destroy the American way of life and the US in general. I doubt the world would be the wonderful place it is today if the US was not the beacon of freedom our founding fathers built thanks to the constitution. We have honor and we follow that document to the letter. The free world is counting on us to not act like some banana republic.
Cheers – your favorite fricken numpty 🙂

  7. timdog says:

    numpty:

Lastly – I can gurantee you – that if he claimed British citizenship he would get it right away thanks to his father.

No he wouldn’t, because as I explained earlier his father WAS NOT a British citizen. As a Kenyan under colonial rule he would have been a citizen of a British Overseas Dependent Territory, which does not amount to British citizenship; in fact, these overseas dependent citizens don’t have much going for them really, and in a few cases have been treated pretty shabbily by my great nation – see the unfortunate Hong Kong Indians at the handover).

Obama would have no chance at all of being granted British citizenship, based on who his father was. Think about it just for a moment – is every single inhabitant of modern Kenya eligible for automatic British citizenship? (and every Pakistani/Indian/Bangladeshi etc etc)? Of course they’re bloody well not!

I don’t know what kind of citizenship laws Kenya has these days; there might be a chance that Obama could claim a Kenyan passport if he went through the process, but it’s rather unlikely that he’d ever want too…
And he’s sure as sh*t not British, whatever way you look at it.

Again, you don’t seem to understand what citizenship is. You seem to think it has something to do with… um… that other thing.
Just to illustrate, there’s this guy called Cristian Gonzales, who used to be a Uruguayan citizen, but now he isn’t; now he’s an Indonesian citizen – coz he did some paperwork. He doesn’t look much like an actual Indonesian; still looks kind of Latin in fact; but he does have the passport. See? Citizenship and that… um… that other thing? Different concepts, you fricken numpty!

Oigal – you should be honoured! I regard my above posts as job applications to join the Men in Black payroll along with your good self…

  8. DualToo says:

    TimDog –
Nice try – now tell the US State Department he is not a Dual Citizen.
Am I to assume that you have accepted the fact that Dual Citizenship disqualifies him?
End of story – accept the fact that he is there illegally – just like I have accepted the fact it will be hard, if not impossible, to end the conspiracy which put him there and keeps him there. You are the perfect example of that.
Calling me racist – that is a scream!
I don’t challenge any item Mr. Obama has told us, I go along with the Constitution and the US State Department and you call me racist (back-handed no less – no guts). Please tell me who better to believe than these sources – Obama, State Department and Constitution?

What are your sources again? “He might claim a passport if he went through the process’ – and he can go through that process WHY? Because he is a Dual Citizen – another country may claim him or he may claim them. Listen to your logic… silly, laughable.
Cheers, enjoy the snow in DC (Al Gore must be in town)

  9. David says:

Looks like timdog is on the payroll as well. That reminds me, I’ve been meaning to bring this up a while and now seems…. commissions. I’m thinking 10% is fair.

  10. Oigal says:

Congrats Timdog, your dark glasses and coat are in the mail. Dual, I will get back to you but no the State Dept did NOT say he was a Dual Citizen, Corzi and the right wing nut Website WND did by inserting blanks into a fairly bland statement by the Dept that pointed out how nutty you guys are in law. However, Corsi does deserve some special attention (hehe …sinister music) as he has a whole grab bag on nuttier theories.

David, it’s not the commission but the perks, free medical care, midnight meetings with the ‘smoking man’ (sorry X files phobe here) and best of all riding around in the Lincoln with the blacked out windows.

Sorry would love to say more, but I am really bouncing around in a vehicle with darkened windows gazing out on a great mass of people who have been forgotten and trodden on by their government.

  11. Let's Make Sense says:

The comments are sad indeed. For the things that you are saying to be true; you would have to believe that the U.S.: ICE, FBI, CIA and Secret Service have all lied also. Did you now that a complete background check is performed on each candidate for President after the Primaries and Party nomination process. As for parts of his record being sealed; it’s called National Security. You have to come to terms with your true adversity. He is a man of color with more integrity and more tolerance than the previous. Where were you when Billions were spent on False WMD’s, or Arms for Contra? Did you complain? No I think not. He is a Global President who’s greatness will not be revealed til long after his legacy. He inherited this problem due to our Greed. Those of you complaining are the same ones driving a foreign vehicle supporting a foreign econmy. Well it’s time to pay the piper again, as it was during the Great Depression. You can either stand beside him, behind him, or just give up and jump off that building like your ancestors did. But what ever you do, come to terms with your hatred.

  12. 2discern says:

The engagement of any dialog with Oigal is futile. The only method this planted blogger can use is “slapinsky’s” (a term coined by me from the Rules for Radicals-S. Alinsky). The insults never have factual backing. Name calling and vacuous logic are the norm for these operatives. The contempt of core moral values is always evident in their postings.

Watch the response to this post.

For Oigal, why does barry soetero seal all his past? (reference executive order 13489)

  13. Oigal says:

    Discern’

I wish you wouldn’t do that..Everytime you out me as a planted White House Plant, I lose my monthy bonus. I confess I do name call…it’s because you fruitcakes are frgn NUTS.

  14. 2discern says:

I rest my case. As predicted, there is not an answer to the question. The usual cynical diversion of “slapinskys”. Do you know if there is any filing in the US, at the correct time frame, for the name change from barry soetero (listed on the Indo passport) to Barak H. Obama?

  15. Oigal says:

Laugh, oh numpty. You of course have a copy of the said Indonesian passport?? I am so glad you came back tho, been a few days since we had some fun with the paranoid fruitcakes.

  16. Oigal says:

Ok, it’s a slow Saturday morning…Numpty said “Why does Obama seal all his past” mmm that would be except for the dozens of books both official and unofficial on every aspect of his life. The literally millions of web pages dedicated both posative and negative to him. The newspaper and other articles in any number of countries that trace his upbringing and road to President.

The fact remains he is a pretty average democrat President, who somewhat over promised and under delivered. That said it looks as if he will get a second term, so all the neo nutters, looney cons and just plain bigots can spend a few more years grinding their teeth, sitting in their dirty underwear bashing out bile and nonsense on the web. Which is not a bad thing call it the modern version of basket weaving for the clinically disturbed.

  17. Thomas says:

Take a concerned look at this evidence: http://www.wasobamaborninkenya.com

  18. Oigal says:

Thanks Thomas, Yes after a look I am very concerned that sites like that will one day disappear and stop be replaced with something serious. What will we laugh at then?

  19. Penny says:

No Jamma, If you are not a “NATURAL BORN” citizen you cannot be president of The United States of America.

  20. Oigal says:

    Hi Penny, Thanks for coming

Obama was born on U.S. soil — in Honolulu, Hawaii — and was therefore a citizen from birth by virtue of the Fourteenth Amendment (and the principle of jus soli).

  21. chinga Yauya says:

I would like to comment on Peter Porcupine’s statement where he refers to the constitution which reads:
” No person except a natural born citizen, or a CITIZEN of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.

What Article II Section I is actually saying is that No person except (i) A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN OR (II) A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES being over 35 and having resided in the United States for 14 years shall be president.
Assuming the accusations to the president are true which would surprise me, he still has legal right to be president. So to all those who hate the president just because he is black, please sit down.

This is just straight-up wrong. The Constitution says nothing about “dual-citizenship,” as that institution didn’t exist at the time.

Damn the entire Tea Party and 90% of the commentators on this thread just sat down

It’s racism, there’s nothing else to say. Here’s another one:

Official apologizes for Obama chimpanzee email

Some quote of this staggering hypocrite:

“I am an imperfect Christian lady who tries her best to live a Christ-like honoring life,”

The US and Indonesia are strikingly similar when it comes to nuttery from their so-called religious politicians….

  26. Oigal says:

    Indeed, L

I often wonder why when I meet these religious fruitcakes. I feel an overwhelming urge to wash my hands.

I have often said there is little difference between the fruitcakes in Indonesian and the US, the only difference is the US has far better law enforcement agencies to keep an eye on the 1%ers and far better media to make fun of them.

  27. Odinius says:

The chimpanzee email is absolutely racist, and so is a lot of the Obama-hate we’ve seen since 2008.

But it’s instructive to remember just how many of these wingnuts were out in force during the Clinton years too. Remember the militia compounds, the conspiracy theories, the impeachment proceedings, etc.?

    http://www.publiceye.org/conspire/clinton/Clintonculwar8-01.html

I think the fact that Obama is half-black makes it easy for his fringe critics to be racist in their scorn, but I think there’s an underlying trend that has nothing to do with race: the right-wing fringe simply can’t abide a center-left president, and the mainstream right panders to this fringe far more than it repudiates it.

  28. Oigal says:

The left and the right fringes are both extreme nutcases however I find a certain (ok make that a lot) amount of amusement in the right wing conspiracy nuts. The far left on the other hand tend to be not so conspiracy orientated just plain nasty idealists.

I do like the latest conspiracy though, the BO “Birther” issue is being kept alive by the democrat staffers. The as every time some lunatic fruit loop, billy bob from the right brings it up, it just makes the Republicans look even more unelectable. At best sound candidates from the right side have to waste so much time distancing themselves from the fruit loops it has to be an advantage to the Dems. :-).

Can anyone see a Republican becoming President when you have the likes of Palin and Trump running distractions of idiocy. Although, a Trump/Palin ticket would be the funniest thing since Abbot and Costello.

  29. Odinius says:

In some countries, the fringe left is more dangerous than the fringe right. The US is not one of those.

The fringe left is small and weak, while the Democrats are more centrist and compromise-oriented at the moment. That means they are much more likely to ignore the harping from moonbats. That’s not what we see in the GOP at all these days.

But yeah, the more the GOP moves away from the American political consensus just a shade to the right of center, the more likely an unprecedented landslide victory for Obama becomes. The thing is, the GOP financial establishment knows this, so I don’t think it’s going to pan out that way.

  30. berlian biru says:

The chimpanzee email is absolutely racist, and so is a lot of the Obama-hate we’ve seen since 2008.

Unlike before 2008 when there was no hatred whatsoever directed towards the US president I suppose.

Portraying a US president as a chimpanzee? Shocking, absolutely shocking.

    Racism anyone?
