This is to all of you who made comparison to different religion.
I believe all religions are good, they all teach us to be a better person, no matter what your religion is Islam, Christian, Budha or Hindus. But the people who claim themself an Ustad, Priest, Father, Monk,….whatever they called them self, didn’t do what their religion taught them, too. And they always hide behind their religion, that they did the right thing, & point finger to other people or other religon.
So to argue, whose religion is the best, it was really pointless, what you’ve got from talking bad about other religion? Is normal that as a human we always think that our religion is better than other religion, or your race is better than other race. But all of you forget, in front of God, everybody are same, no matter your background is, your education, your skin color or your religion.
You were born naked, & when you died you will turn to be dust. When you hungry, you eat, when you’re thirsty, you need to drink, when you tired or sleepy you need to rest, when you have a cut you’ll bleeding, & also all the blood have the same color. So, please stop talking about religion. Why can we just live in this world in peace, stop spread hatred, what good for you in the next life?And about polygamy, all I can say, let’s put ourself in other people shoes before we do something. How we feel about that if we are them? And don’t forget what goes around comes around.
So, please just do good for yourself & other people, live to short to fight about nonsense, or spread hatred to other people or other religion.

Hmm, lots of “interesting” comments here. I just want to say that what we are talking about now is about polygamy itself. Yes, it relates to religion, because this religion says this, this religion says that and from what I see that’s what the basis of MOST of these all comments. But, ladies and gents, the point is about Aa Gym. Can we just not claim that this religion is wrong or that religion is wrong?
Let’s just get back to the right track. Polygamy.
Anyway, I’m still rather confused. What is actually the fault of this polygamy (for anyone who disagrees with that)?And why is it ok to do it (for anyone who is agree)? Can anybody answer it? More than one – Because of infertility/widow/high sexual needs are 3 high factors that leads to a second marriage recommended by Islam. It should not be motivated by lust at all cost. There is a price for lustful marriage and that is not approved by islam.Rasulullah s.a.w seeks forgiveness for not able to act fair and just to all wives everyday of his life without fail. You are able to be the same? To be the same calibre to educate not just a wife but wives? InsyAllah, you will not able to say yes to that.
You should consult your heart out if your choices are of reasonble ones. So, therefore, if you are not able to act just, financially and emotional for the women you choose to marry, then you must marry only one. It is a promise from God through the Quran. Take heed. Otherwise, penalty too will be “just”.

I understand, a lot of the people who have send their comments right here were women, isn’t it? One thing you should try to do in your life is TO THINK BY YOUR LOGIC RATHER THAN BY YOUR EMOTION.
Please answer my this question: How all of you women can consistently solve the problem of un-ability of a married female in responding his legal husband’s call for a sexual activity? (pls. think about women’s menstruation period – a week in common -; post delivering the baby born – 40 days ‘nifas’ – , menopouse term, etc.) Will you let them to find ‘his solution’ illegally out there?
Or, will you just give him some money ‘to buy’ somegirl; the same thing with what happen in Western Culture (with monogamy) hypocrite life?
Beside that, there will be significant cases that some female are ‘designed by God’ not fertile or could have permanent problems with their reproduction organs.

I am a man and I would never force myself upon my wife (by the way I am a Bule and my wife is a lovely Indonesian lady) Now maybe this is why so many of the young ladies in Indonesia are trying to marry an expat. Do you think that just because a woman agrees to marry a man that she ceases to be a person and becomes a bed warmer for her husband to use whenever he feels like it. You my friend disgust me and if this is how Sharia law operates, i say to all the woman in Indonesia LEAVE before this creature and his friends can bring in this law and treat all you woman folk like concubines or even worse, Animals.
Marriage is not only a joining of two bodies but a joining of souls,happiness, dreams, love,mutual admiration, mutual respect and the caring for each others well being, Not so, a man can have something he can stick his dick into when he feels like it. People like you should be shot.

There’s nothing wrong with Islam per se, it did indeed give some rights like rights of inheritance, divorce etc to women before some other places in the world did. However everyone needs to keep pace with the changing world. For instance, Islam like Christianity, earlier allowed slavery, but even Wahabi Saudi Arabia and Post revolutionary Iran do not allow it. All other religions like Judaism, Buddhism and Hinduism which allowed it have banned it, as have Muslim Turkey and Tunisia.

FYI, Islam is the only religion that remains the same 1000 years ago until now. There are no such things as amandements in quran or hadith. Things that are allowed before are also allowed now, vice versa. Why is that? because it is a religion of truth that comes from God and God preserves it until the end of the world.
Poligamy was allowed and even considered as an ‘escape’ for women in misery since there were so many women lost their husbands in war and had lots of children to feed and taken care of. Not to mention it was common for men to have one wife and 10 mistresses … this is what Islam tried to fight… you have to marry a women and take full responsibility not just simply take a mistress to feed your lust. If you are able to be just…. more than one is OK. Men in our time claiming that they do poligamy according to sharia must then prove their reasoning in front of God and must prove themselves to be just and faithfull to teir wives…. It is TOUGH!!
Other religion discriminate Islam for this, pretending that in their history … one man always have one women. They change the rules so many times claiming that their religion is flexible. Think deeply…. which religion do you think making a lot of sense? The keep changing ones(proving no definit rules adopted) or the one remains the same? -

If you have read Al Quran you would realise that Al Quran only allows men to take an additional wife in times of war, and this is solely for the benefit of the orphan children. The fact that sunnah contradicts this is sufficient proof that sunnah is the work of The Devil and a corruption of Allahs word.
