Obama Barack has been democratically elected President of the US.
Quite an about face for the best democracy money can buy, in view of the Bush presidential se-lection.
But of course, corruption, collusion and nepotism is the sole monopoly of the Third World – or so the deluded denizens of the West repeat to themselves as they hug their knees, rocking back and forth – reminding themselves of how they uphold human rights equally across the board, entirely devoid of double-standards and totally oblivious to race, creed or religion.
Barrak Hussein Obama II was born to a white American Ann Dunham and Kenyan Barrak Hussein Obama Snr, in Nyang’oma Kogelo now in Kenya.

Ann Dunham married in 1967 Lolo Soetoro, a Javanese, whose own father, in 1946 was killed along with his eldest brother were killed, after which the Dutch army burned down the family’s home. Soetoro fled with his mother into the countryside to survive. Incidentally yet more proof of Dutch war crimes – delibrate destruction of civilian property outside the scope of battle.
Pak Lolo Soetoro was an army geologist then later a government relations consultant for Mobil Oil. Obama describes Soetoro as well-mannered, even-tempered, and easy with people.

From age 6 to 10, Obama lived in Jakarta. Age six, Obama attended the Catholic Primary St Francis di Assisi. Much was made of the lie he was educated in a Madrassa – or more accurately a pesantren – this of course was totally untrue. Obama Jnr later attended Model Primary School, Menteng and was registered as a Muslim – as his father was Muslim.
In the Muslim school, the teacher wrote to tell my mother that I made faces during Koranic studies. My mother wasn’t overly concerned. ‘Be respectful,’ she’d say. In the Catholic school, when it came time to pray, I would close my eyes, then peek around the room. Nothing happened. No angels descended. Just a parched old nun and 30 brown children, muttering words.
One of “Berry’s” childhood friends was Adi who often visited “Berry’s” 16 Jalan Haji Ramli house. Speaking volumes of Dutch “development” at the time the road was of this established middle-class neighbourhood was a dirt lane where Obama used to wile away the hours kicking a soccer ball.
Adi recalled Obama and his friends wore plastic bags over their shoes to walk through the muddy street during the rainy seasons.
Neighborhood Muslims worshiped in a nearby house, which has since been replaced by a larger mosque. Sometimes, when the muezzin sounded the call to prayer, Lolo and Barry would walk to the makeshift mosque together, Adi said.
His mother often went to the church, but Barry was Muslim. He went to the mosque,” Adi said. “I remember him wearing a sarong.”
Obama spent most his spare time hanging out with Adi and other friends at the home of Yunaldi Askiar, a classmate. They used to play a kind of fencing game using sticks, kick a ball up and down the narrow dirt lanes or go swimming in the river behind the school, said Askiar, 42, a car mechanic.
Obama was taller and better dressed than most kids in classes where shoes and socks were still luxuries, so he stood out from the start. As an African American, and the only foreigner, he suffered racial taunts and teasing but never turned to violence.
“At first, everybody felt it was weird to have him here,” Israella Dharmawan, his first grade teacher said. “But also they were curious about him, so wherever he went, the kids were following him.”
His friends enjoyed playing tricks on Berry: Harmon ASki recalled,
“Sometimes we’d say, ‘Barry, do you want a chocolate?’ And we’d give him a chocolate. The next day we’d give him a chocolate again. The third time we’d give him terasi (fermented shrimp paste) wrapped up like chocolate. Obama didn’t get mad. He would laugh it off.”
Ann Soetoro moved to Yogyakarta, while Obama Jnr studied in Jakarta. She was inspired by Jogja village industries, which became the basis of her 1992 doctoral dissertation.
“She loved living in Java,” said Dr. Dewey, who recalled accompanying Ms. Soetoro to a metalworking village. “People said: ‘Hi! How are you?’ She said: ‘How’s your wife? Did your daughter have the baby?’ They were friends. Then she’d whip out her notebook and she’d say: ‘How many of you have electricity? Are you having trouble getting iron?’ ”
Dunham-Soetoro became a consultant for the United States Agency for International Development on setting up a village credit program, then a Ford Foundation program officer in Jakarta specializing in women’s work. Later, she was a consultant in Pakistan, then joined Indonesia’s oldest bank to work on what is described as the world’s largest sustainable microfinance program, creating services like credit and savings for the poor.

In his tellingly-titled Memoir, Dreams from My Father, Obama describes his Indonesian interlude as “one long adventure, the bounty of a young boy’s life”. But he also recalls being troubled by the poverty around him: “the empty look on the faces of farmers the year the rains never came,” and the desperation of the disabled beggars who came to the family’s door.
“The world was violent, I was learning, unpredictable and often cruel,” he writes. Obama and his mother thus we were very well acquainted with the harsh realities of indigenous Indonesians.
Fermina Katarina Sinaga, recalled yojhng Obama in her class: in the common task of class to write an essay titled “My dream: What I want to be in the future.” Obama “wrote ‘I want to be a president,’ ” she said. During a later writing assignment on family, he wrote, “My father is my idol.
The Indonesian connection for Obama and all that shaped him proving once again all things Javanese and indigenous Indonesian the bedrock for the towering monuments built on the foundations of a great civilisation.

His father was never a natural born citizen. If his parents were married On February 2. 1961 and Obama was born later that year in August It woulld be she carried him for 6 months?

Obama is friends with all of the Chicago politicians. In order to make them happy he tried to get the olympics for that city. He failed. Chicago is known for gangsters. What does this say about Obama? He has czars with shady pasts. He has ties to gangsters, radicals and, an admitted bomber. This man is un-American. Before he was president he was just another US citizen, right? Did he travel overseas before he became president? To travel wouldn’t he have needed a passport? To get a passport wouldn’t he have needed to show a birth certificate?
So, wouldn’t his birth certificate be on file somewhere within the bureaucracy?
In any event, wouldn’t his validity to run for the highest office in the land have been vetted with respect to his citizenship?
Is this really an issue or just a media beat up?

I figured that if Michael is right about the social security card and the passport, then I figure that the president would have had to fork over a birth certificate for those documents too (just like anyone else).
I am not a US citizen so I do not know the intricacies of all the relevant processes and procedures. I did study for a year in the US and was required to get a social security card, which required me to fork over a copy of my birth certificate.
On the vetting procedures. Nope, no answer. I do not know and have not done the research.
On the media beat up. Yep, I think it is a media beat up.

I have not read of his having any made international trips since college. If that is true, then he would not have needed a US passport.
As for current travel, I can’t imagine any customs agent, worldwide, asking the President of the United States for travel documents.
What is surprising to me is that, in as much as any of these controversies could be cleared up by simply producing the original, supportive documentation, why doesn’t he do so.
Whatever the agenda, it seems to point to one of two possibilities: Either such documentation does not exist or there is some benefit being realized by keeping the debate alive.

The true government of american is a handfull of internationalists, their educational foundations, ancient east coast law firms and the rest of the world who give it creedence by recognizing it as so.
Elected government men, who make the rules, are selected by partymen, the power brokers of the rich and powerful. Their marching orders are carried by lobbists, and the dictates of the rich come in the forms of predrafted legislation .
The person in question is an international person, not native of the soil to be sure, thus has no loyalty to the land or its people (who are mostly white). What better foil to devide the people, while the internationalist devide spoils of a ruined nation, and enslave the rest.

Keane, You had me all the way up to the last sentence. “You can stop paying taxes to the feds” but there are consequences. Without regard to our lofty ideals of government of, by and for the people, in reality the US Federal Government has all the power.
The odds against a tax revolt or other popular, anti-government uprising in this country are overwhelming. And, even if such a movement could be organized, it would play right into the hands of the progressives now running the country.
Mr. Obama, et al, would like nothing more than to have an excuse to declare national martial law and suspend what’s left of our constitution.
Balkanization might be the only answer to saving remnants of this once great political experiment.
The following is merely a wild exercise of imagination but, if groups of states would form coalitions to become independent from the Federal Government. For sake of mathematical simplicity let’s say, ten groups of five states each, forming ten independent nations. The resistance to federal power would then be split ten ways.
But this, of course, would require state legislatures free from those who agree with the progressive movement in Washington.
As for me and mine, we have gone into bunker mentality.

Elvis, were he alive, would be foolish to be making appearances. As did Michael Jackson, Elvis made a great career move by dying. He has made much more money dead than he ever did while alive.
As for the Obama controversy, I’m not a “birther.” I have not formed an opinion one way or the other about Obama’s birth status, citizenship or immigration status. I don’t have access to concrete facts that would allow the formation of an opinion, one way or the other.
What I do say is that if the POTUS had an interest in clearing up the controversy he could do so for far less of a cash outlay than he is spending to keep the matter alive.
That is an observable truth and leads to the conclusion that the whole “birther,” citizenship flap has some other intrinsic value to the current administration.
Perhaps it’s as simple as a game of “let’s you and him fight,” which is valuable in diverting attention from other areas of activity. I don’t know.
What I do know is that our economy is in the tank and a reasonable expectation is that prices will continue to rise, quality of life will continue to erode and “government help” is an oxymoron.
Personally, I try not to get too exercised over things that I can’t change. In the final analysis it’s all just a big reality show. For the average man on the street it’s an intellectual exercise at best.
Mr. Obama will either succeed in changing America to something close to his hopes and dreams, or not. Some Republican hopeful will either replace him, or not.
Paint me a cynic but, without regard to what plays out on the national stage, my life on this little plot of ground, here in the East Texas woods, will go on pretty much the same.
Everybody has to believe something. I believe I’ll have another beer.

Hmmm… I like your reasoning but I see some fatal flaws in that statement. The correct sentence should read;

You call me irrational. okay… if you see it that way. However…Rep. Trent Franks, an Arizona Republican, has no doubts that Barack Obama is a natural born citizen.
In a video interview with The Washington Independent’s Dave Weigel, Franks, who has flirted a bit with the birther movement, gives a lengthy explanation of why he sympathized with the birthers while detailing his own personal views on why Obama is a natural born citizen.
In summary: Franks has seen the evidence and determined some time ago that yes, Obama was born in Hawaii. He thought about suing for proof of citizenship before last year’s election, but didn’t want to create a frenzy. But he still wants to see that long form birth certificate.
“Barack Obama could solve this problem and get the birthers to back off … by showing his long form birth certificate,” Franks said.
Get it? Do you see the issue or are you just running on faith and hopeychange?

It would not surprise me if the Obama marketing machine were deliberately keeping this debate alive. It’s exactly what I would be doing in their situation. Just as every cry of “Obama’s a terrorist” at a McCain rally cost McCain thousands of votes, so every right wing commentator suggesting that a non-citizen was erroneously given the highest office in the land will chip away at whatever credibility the GOP still had after Bush.

Feeding the beast, that is to say, the international financial monopoly that enthralls this land, with tax money will prolong the agony.
My solution? Buy goods 100% produced in this land, store excess value in gold, pack a gun and pay no tax.
Drop out of the service (wage slave) economy and become a tradesman. Shun the city slickers and college boys.
If 30% of the population becomes refusenicks, trading within their own circles (economic balkanization), the system of economic peonage endorsed by DC would no doubt stumble and fall. If refusenicks pack heat, and defend their right to the death, is sure to maintain the right to what is theirs.
Let the feds try to administer a continental police state, and the results will be grim. There is a rifle behind every blade of grass in this land. The likely case will be for “progressives” and other internationalists to slither back underneath the slimy red rock where they were spawned.
And as far as multistate alliances go, I am all for a great lakes/midwest
arrangement, with Indiana as a center piece.Get out of the bunker and make the kind of land you want to live in.

The cert that you are hanging your hat on is an abstract of birth. It is a valid document for all common purposes requiring proof of birth in the US in today’s world, but let me turn you on to the big picture:
I personally know of three Mexican men living in California that could produce the same legal document from the State of California’s government offices. Not one of them was born in the US. And I would consider my ties to the Mexican population of California as “light”. An associate of mine who works with crews of Mexican farm workers says that the numbers of Mexican born immigrants with the ability to produce such documents is easily in the hundreds of thousands.
And this is nothing new. People have been “creating” proof of US birth for DECADES. The one thing that is always impossible to produce by these individuals? The true birth certificate signed by the parents and delivering doctor…the one we have yet to see from Mr. Obama.
BTW, I am a democrat so don’t pull your GOP card out on me…maybe just pull your head out of the “I Love Barack” box you have it stuck in.

The fact that he has destroyed GM and Chrysler, spent over a trillion a month since taking office, destroyed morale at the CIA, tripled the deficit, hired numerous Communists to important positions, considers the Constitution to be too restrictive and all the rest of the idiocy and damage he has done to our relationships with our allies…the list is just too long…these things far overshadow this little blip on the radar.
It’s just one more deception, lie or lie of omission in the ongoing saga of the anti-American President and will have no real effect on the possible re-election of the most destructive President ever.

I would agree with your “refusenik” approach so long as the “pay no tax” does not require a direct confrontation with the IRS. I still have the scars.
My extended family is making strides towards being a group sufficient unto itself. Apart from communication, I am finding that life can be quite full with fewer “modern conveniences” in it. The Amish have a lot for us to emulate.
Your message reminds me of when, during their attempted occupation of Afghanistan, the Russians installed a hand picked president. His name escapes me but no matter. The point is that he quickly became known as “The President of Kabul.”
If enough people followed your “economic balkanization” idea, the administration in Washington would find itself governing only DC.
My dream alliance of states would be Texas and each of those with whom we share a border. Additionally, a comprehensive Bracero Treaty with Mexico, similar to the program in place during the early forties, would solve the seasonal labor problem.

So now we have an american first family with a muslim history.
Down the line, in the future, his children and grand children are bound to be great politicians too, using the “Obama” label. They’ll no doubt always be reminded of their muslim heritage.. and some will eventually convert.
If we use the Kennedy family as our benchmark,
I’d say the future Obamas will easily get 5 or 6 senate or governor position within the next 2nd generation. maybe 2 of them will be muslim. the other 3 will be mostly muslim friendly. Whoa is not that a nightmare for you? where are you going to emigrate? UK is bust already. May be french? they ban the burqa after all, so that must be your country.
